time managment

I don't have a lot of time to write a legitimate essay of discontent today, as I have very important things to do (like go see Adventureland then proceed to some daytime drinking before work...), but in honor of Tax Day, I felt I had to do something.

So, please to allow me to present to you the official Tax Day Anti DC Original E-Greeting Cards For Those Who Want To Simultaneously Impress and Alienate:

Don't forget: FREE ICE CREAM!

I'm really enjoying these e-greeting cards... But then, I really enjoy impressing and alienating.
Double plus good-points for pre-work tippling.

I was wondering if you are noticing the same thing at your job as I did working at Shinder's back in the day: The nicer and more business-like a person is dressed, the sicker and more depraved their purchases tend to be (not that there's anything wrong with that, but...)
Like, Joe six-pack picks up a copy of Penthouse or Hustler, but Joe executive is buying a stack of NKOTB fan magazines and some hardcore gay porn! (NKOTB... yeah, I worked at Shinder's late 80's early 90's!)

Any trends like that? Or are you saving those observations for your book? Middle-America wants to know!

matt--Not really noticing much of that, but that's probably because no one is effing even coming into the store. Damn recession.
